My Practice Philosophy is There are No Mistakes, Just Discoveries

[Why I do what I do]

Ever since I was young, I have been captivated by the art of Beautification. The ability to transform someone's appearance and boost their confidence truly inspires me.

One of the many things I personally love about a career in beauty is how socially friendly it is. You Never know who you’ll work with, which is what I Love. I’ll have the ability to engage with different people, which is important to me. In Beauty, I get to connect and listen to clients every day. I like to think of it as Beauty Therapy, because that’s what it feels like for me. As in any therapist field, it's my job to develop my communication, and empathy with my clients concerns by listening to their stories, insecurities and excitement.

I'm very intrigued by what is considered “In-Style” and what’s not. The Beauty Industry is constantly serving new looks, styles and concepts so the demand is always very high which makes it a Billion Dollar Business. I wanted to start a career that I Loved and could make a good living while doing it. My morale is high when I'm making someone beautiful. I know that beauty is only skin deep, but we’ve all heard the saying “First Impressions are Everything”. I just want to be the reason a bride feels beautiful on her wedding day. I Live on the forefront of promoting Self-Love and Self-Acceptance, by helping others see their own beauty.

I'm a firm believer that “If you Look Better, You’ll Feel Better” as a person who suffers from Mental Health Issues, we never know what others are going through. While Everyone’s Stories and struggles are processed differently, Self-Care is the Medicine we ALL Need to Recover. I find Healing in Beauty, Both Inside and Out. As a Beautician, the instant gratification I get from sharing my skills and services with others takes my self-esteem to a whole new level. I have many stories of “beauty therapists” giving their clients the confidence they needed. Either by Make-up, Hairstylist, Skincare, Nail Beautification, Hair Removal, Body Contouring and help with posture, or defining Lashes and/or brows- Beauty therapists play a huge role in making people feel their best!

The Beauty Industry has long had deep ties to the entertainment industry. Today, there are make-up artist, hairstylist, fashion moguls, massage therapist, and Estheticians who work exclusively with celebrities on film sets and red carpets. My Goals after Completing the cosmetology program is Brand myself into a thriving, lucrative business. I would like to make my own product and sell my own line, build regular Cliental and one day own and operate my own Salon.  I believe that I am destined to succeed
